To help prepare you for the ultimate ride, the following training plans are specifically designed for the 2018 Prospera Granfondo Axel Merckx Okanagan. Special thanks to Lewis Morrison (MSc, CSEP-CEP, FMS-2, BWLA), director of sports science at The Peak Centre for Human Performance in Vancouver, B.C., for customizing plan for each of our four distances.

Twenty-week (5-month) programs starting from Monday, February 19, 2018 for the Granfondo (160 km), Velocefondo (126 km), Mediofondo (92 km) and Cortofondo (55 km). The plans are broken down into a weekly schedule, including short rides, long rides, intensity sessions and strength training.
