To prepare you for the ultimate ride, the following training plans are specifically designed for the 2017 Prospera Granfondo Axel Merckx Okanagan. Special thanks to Lewis Morrison (MSc, CSEP-CEP, FMS-2, BWLA), director of sports science at The Peak Centre for Human Performance in Vancouver, B.C., for customizing plan for each of our four distances.

The training plans are applicable for all distances, including the Cortofondo (55 km), Mediofondo (92 km), Velocefondo (126 km) and Granfondo (160 km). The plans will be continually updated, so check back for more details and additional weeks of training:
