On Saturday, July 6^th, the 2013 Valley First Granfondo Axel Merckx Okanagan (VFGFAMO) is pleased to present the free Piccolofondo for kids (push bikes (under 5) through to 12-years-of-age). Kids will participate on a 1 to 2 km Piccolofondo circuit, while parents cheer them on with their midday espressos.

Adding to the excitement, this year’s course will incorporate the same Start/Finish line as Sunday’s Granfondo, Mediofondo and Cortofondo courses. Come early to Gyro Park (Main Street at Lakeshore Drive (near Okanagan Lake), Penticton, B.C.) and stroll through Penticton’s famous Farmers’ Market. Kids will receive their very own race bib prior to the event and a cool Finisher’s medal at the end.
